Summer Walt Disney World and Disneyland Refurbishment List
So you're dreaming of your ultimate vacation for this summer to visit the mouse. I find it's best to know which attractions will be down for refurbishment while planning my trip. Disney is constantly building and upgrading various aspects in their parks. I do not see refurbishment in a negative way. Sure it stinks that attraction may have downtime when you are visiting, but I'd rather be prepared ahead of time so my little one doesn't get her hopes set high on riding an attraction that is scheduled to be down (and mine too).
Here is a list of attraction and other closures that may impact your trip. Please keep in mind that these dates are subject to change.
Walt Disney World Resort
Monorail
The monorail system is undergoing refurbishment and might run on modified or reduced schedules. You may have to use another transportation option. Through early 2016.

***Many exciting changes are coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios!! A new 11-acre land, Toy Story Land, will take guests right into Andy's backyard with attractions featuring Slinky Dog, Aliens, and the famous Toy Story Mania. The is an even larger expansion coming to the park. A Star Wars themed land, 14-acres, will be bringing two new attractions to the park.***
