All Inclusive Review: Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island Nassau
From the moment I stepped foot on the Sandals Royal Bahamian property, I knew it was going to be an amazing stay. Upon arrival, after only a five-minute drive from the airport, I was handed a wet towel scented with lemon to freshen up which was followed up with a glass of champagne. This is just one of the reasons this resort is the recipient of the Five Star Diamond Award (six years in a row) and World’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort.
Sandals has three categories to choose from to match your vacation desires. The three levels are Butler Level, Club Level and Luxury Level. The Butler Level includes VIP private transfers via Mercedes Benz or Rolls Royce.
The Sandals Royal Bahamian is filled with European sophistication and extravagant details from Roman colonnaded pools and exotic fire pits to ten restaurants and Red Lane, a world-class spa. The gourmet restaurants offer French cuisine, Mediterranean, Italian, and Japanese just to name a few. My group dined at Kimonos and thoroughly enjoyed the Sushi Bar and the entertainment provided by our chef. The pizza from Bella Napoli was also a favorite among our group.
The massive Sandals pools are just like the advertisements you watch on television. The swim up bar added a perfect setting for a hot day. Drinking a pina colada while relaxing in the pool made for a relaxing afternoon. All of their drinks are included and there are premium options. Sandals offers all inclusive water sports, including sailing, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking and more. Additionally, you can go scuba diving two times a day at no cost. If you do not have a scuba license, you can take a day course for $100.00.
This all-inclusive resort has it’s own private Sandals island a half mile away. Just minutes away by private ferry you can be taken to an exotic offshore island. Sandals has created an entire offshore island excursion complete with two secluded beaches lined with shaded cabanas, hammock swings for two, a pool with a signature swim-up bar serving non-stop premium drinks, snorkeling, tranquil Zen gardens and the Red Lane Spa, Escape. Only Sandals Royal Bahamian includes two exotic vacations for the price of one.
The first day I arrived, the resort had five weddings scheduled. Sandals takes care of all of the integral details of a wedding from beginning to end. I was given a tour of the resort and saw many beautiful locations that are available for a Caribbean wedding. Additionally, they offer a “Retie the Knot” package for $300.00 which includes a planner, ceremony, and a 30 minute reception, just to name a few of the features.
After this fabulous vacation at Sandals Royal Bahamian, I am looking forward to my next Sandals Vacation. There are 19 resorts on eight islands to include Sandals (couples) or Beaches (families) to choose from.
