Monorail Resort Crawl- A Great Idea for Adults Visiting Disney World!

Bachelorette party? Bachelor party? Adult night out? The Monorail Crawl is a creative take on pub crawls! What better way to enjoy an adult evening than by having the greatest designated driver- Disney's Monorail system. The Monorail Resort Crawl is even better, if you are staying at one of the monorail resorts, because your hotel is a great place to start and end the night. If your not staying at a monorail resort you can just jump on the monorail at the Transportation Center and take a ride around the Seven Seas Lagoon, enjoying some of the greatest spirits, appetizers and desserts Disney Resorts have to offer.

First Stop!

The Polynesian Resort, features two of the stops on the Monorail Crawl, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and Tambu Lounge. With such drinks like the Uh-Oa!, Castaway Crush, and Hippopoto Mai-Tai, each speciality cocktail at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto contains a special surprise!

The Tambu Lounge is a creative take on an island tiki bar and features the Lapu Lapu, a specialty cocktail made of dark rum, Barcadi rum, and tropical juices which is served in a hollowed out pineapple.

A must try food item on their menu to accompany your cocktails, are the Pulled Pork Nachos.

Stop 2!

The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is also home to the classiest spot on the Monorail Crawl, Mizner's Lounge.

Mizner's Lounge had a laid back classic atmosphere, and a jazz vibe. You can enjoy their live Jazz music while sipping on a glass of champagne or enjoying a handcrafted drink from their wide selection of high end liqueurs. The must try menu item at the Mizner Lounge, is dessert of course - and would be the Florida Key Lime Pie. This is a great way to end your night, if you decide to make this your third stop instead of second!

Stop 3!

The Contemporary Resort is home to three more stops on the Monorail crawl - with the Outer Rim, the Wave Lounge, and the California Grill Lounge. The Outer Rim sits right next to Chef Mickeys and has a view of Bay Lake, and the passing monorails. The menu includes specialty cocktails such as the Fireball Cocktail ( a mix of Fireball cinnamon whisky, and Rumchata Creme Liquer), the Blue "Glow-Tini" (a creative take on a Martini) and the "Godiva Liquer Flight" (just the name Godiva says it all!) along with a wide selection of wines and beer, including seasonal beers.

The Wave Lounge is on the ground floor of the Contemporary Resort, and features the Magic Star Cocktail, a mix of organic fruit juices with coconut rum and served over a glowing ice cube. The Wave Lounge also serves a variety of organic wines and beers, which happen to be brewed locally. A must try appetizer are the Fish Tacos!

The California Grill Lounge, sits at the top of the Contemporary Resort and is not only a perfect place to enjoy speciality cocktails, and California wines but also has a magnificent view of Magic Kingdom's Wishes Spectacular and Fireworks show. The California Grill Lounge has a wide selection of menu items to enjoy with your spirits!

No matter what the occasion the Monorail Crawl is a must do for your bucket list!
