Among the most notable features on the top deck is the Aqua Park. The park offers four major water slides, including twin “free fall” slides that drop passengers nearly straight down several stories before spinning them over the edge of the ship. The aqua park also includes two pools, four hot tubs, and a watery play area for kids with squirting water features designed for little ones.

The deck-top Sports Zone has one of the largest rope courses at sea. The course is suspended in the sky complex that has dozens of elements including two platforms called the Plank that extend eight feet over the vessel’s edge. The deck-top also includes a miniature golf course, basketball court, and the first bocce court on a Norwegian ship.

NCL partnered with Miami’s three-year-old Wynwood Brewing Company, to open The District Brew House. A keg room is behind a glass wall as a focal point. Over 24 beers are on tap and another 50 in bottles. The brew house serves pub style plates for snacking. Live music nightly, including sing-alongs, and a photo booth add to the ambience.
Dine like nowhere else at sea with all of the freedom and flexibility of Freestyle Dining. One of the many 25 dining experiences is at the Iron Chef Jose Garces’ Bayamo, where seafood meets a Latin twist. Other dining options include Food Republic or take a bite out of paradise with signature items like the Cheeseburger in Paradise in Jimmy Buffets Margaretville. You can connect with the sea on The Waterfront, which is also a restaurant located on a quarter-mile oceanfront promenade.
Norwegian Escape offers a magnificent spa called The Mandara Spa. The spa features an aromatic salt room, thermal pool, sauna, steam rooms, and the typical spa treatments offered on ships. The spa on the Escape is the largest in the NCL fleet. Mandara Spa has a salt room and first time ever at sea-snow room. Menu of pampering and exotic spa treatments are available.
