Christmas Activities at Walt Disney World Resort
Who wouldn't love to visit the most Magical Place on earth for Christmas? I know I would love to be there Christmas Morning! What many people may not know is that there are tons of activities to do while on your Walt Disney World vacation at Christmastime.
Magic Kingdom
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney's Magic Kingdom is a great way to get into the holiday spirit (this special event happens select evenings from November to December. You must buy a seperate ticket for this event average cost is $80 per person). This party gets you into the park from 4- to midnight. During this event you get to see Mickey and his Friends in their Holiday outfits, cookies and hot cocoa,

EPCOT
Disneys Epcot has Holidays Around the World and here you can explore worldwide celebrations as you experience traditions from World Showcase Nations. Holidays Around the World at Epcot lets you enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of these festive customs. They play beautiful music and have seasonal food favorites as costumed performers perform each nations time-honored traditions.
This runs November 25 to December 30,2016.

The Candlelight Processional is a biblical reading of the story of Christmas. Hosted selected evenings during the Christmas season by celebrity narrators that include Steve Curtis Chapman, Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Meredith Viera, Joe Morton, and Cal Ripken Jr. Show times are at 5, 6:45 and 8:15. Tickets are not required to attend but dining packages are available.

Disney Springs
The newly renamed Disneys Springs will help you buy Christmas gifts for all your friends and family with over 107 stores to choose from. Catch live entertainment including Carolers, stilt walkers, and performers. You may even have the chance to meet the big guy himself....I Mean Santa Claus 🎄🎅🏽. He is there daily from 12-10 pm so write your list and be nice.
Resorts
Many of the Resorts decorate their lobbies as well. The Grand Floridian has a Giant Gingerbread House and samples of the gingerbread(at times). The Contemporary Resort has Gingerbread Frozen Characters in front of a Norwegian display with a Giant Christmas tree outside the resort. If you're looking for a relaxing afternoon of fun a resort hop is perfect. Spend the afternoon touring the different resorts and seeing all of their beautiful decorations.
If your staying at a Walt Disney world resort you can even get holiday surprise in your room...these in room celebrations are amazing and worth every penny to see the smile on the faces of your loved ones.
