Park Spotlight: Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me~ Check out "The Pirates League"

Yo ho ho!!! Calling all pirates!! One of Disney's Best Kept Secrets (in my opinion) is The Pirates League. The Pirates League is located in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom theme park, (park admission is required, prior reservations are HIGHLY recommended) between the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and Plaza del Sol Bazaar.

Aspiring Pirates must be at least 3 years of age and adults are welcome as well. There are many packages to choose from and no worries if your daughter doesn’t want to be a Pirate there are also Mermaid packages as well. Package prices range from $39.95 to $99.95.

After you check in you will spin the dice and receive your Official Pirate Name from the leather-bound captain’s log. Then, make your way over to the Muster Station, where the League’s veteran pirates will give you a makeover as the pirate of your choosing.

Once the transformation is complete and you are sworn in you will make your way through a hidden chamber where the Pirate Masters have a secret surprise! I would like to add here that once you are in the secret hidden chamber no videos will be allowed. Captain Jack would hate for his secrets to get out! You are more than welcome to take photos. In our most recent experience we were allowed to take our own photos, but in the past a PhotoPass photographer ready to snap your photos.
