Resort Spotlight: The Cabins at Fort Wilderness and Campground

These amazing little cabins give you all the amenities of home with the luxury of staying on Disney property. They are individual cabins for families that sleep up to six adults with one child under the age of three. The cabins are on loops and you get around the resort using a golf carts that you can rent from Disney (who wouldn't love that). If you don’t rent a golf cart, you can use their internal buses. They have a deck, two doors of entry, a full bathroom, a full kitchen, 2 televisions, a DVD player, and a bedroom that sleeps four (1 double bed and 1 bunk bed) along with the Murphy bed or a pull out couch that sleeps another two.

There's plenty of outdoor activities to do while staying at the cabins. You can choose from two pools, go horseback riding, take a carriage ride, you can just take it a your on your golf cart, hang out at the campfire with Chip and Dale and makes sMores while watching a movie, take a boat ride to Magic Kingdom, go canoeing, watch fireworks from the beach while you hear wishes music play along, see the electrical water pageant or go on a hike. With all these options who wouldn't want to saying this outdoorsy wonderland that offers you a deck with a picnic table and a charcoal barbecue grill to cook outside. This resort is absolutely amazing. People whom enjoy to be outside doing activities such as fishing, canoeing, archery, horseback riding and taking in the nature scene with hikes or a golf cart ride will enjoy this resort.

There are great pools here.

The resort also has campsites available for those looking to ROUGH it or RV it. Some campsites allow pets but space is limited and pet must be listed on reservation.

Please be advised that some cabins have already been refurbished and do not have an oven while the old cabins still consists of a full kitchen. They do not have laundry in the cabins however near the pools are washing machines and dryers for you to use.
