This resort is set back and surrounded by Bay Lake and majestic tall trees. Wilderness Lodge is full of Great-American Craftmanship, This resort has paid great attention to the details. The lobby has amazing totem poles, headdresses and a roaring fireplace. Take some time to enjoy a hot or adult beverage and sit in front of fireplace to unwind after a long day in the park or shopping at Disney Springs. Guests can take a stroll on the nature trails, find the rocking chairs overlooking the creek, watch the geysers, and just enjoy the scenery! Transportation to parks is by bus but you can also enjoy a boat ride filled with gorgeous scenery to Magic Kingdom.
This resort has many different rooms categories:
Standard rooms have 2 queen size beds or one king(requested not guaranteed) sleeps 4 plus one child under age of 3.
Courtyard rooms have views of the Courtyard and also have bunk beds as an option.
They also have Club level rooms with concierge service. With these rooms you get complimentary drinks(beers, wines and juices) along with hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and treats In there club level lounge. And personal assistance and turn down service.
Wilderness Lodge has heated and cooled pools surrounded by pine trees and boulders and geysers. Children even have their own kiddie pool. Big kids can enjoy the adventures on the waterslide.
Many different places to grab a bite to eat at this resort as well.
Artist Point is a fine dining location offers panoramic view of Bay Lake and Silver Creek Falls inside and amazing views from the outdoor terrace. This beautiful restaurant features Pacific-Northwest cuisine and has an award-winning wine list.
Whispering Canyon is a family-style dining location where they like to joke (sassing)around. This restaurant is known for Come-One, Come-All, Just Come Hungry! They are not kidding about this! Don't forget to ask for Ketchup.
Roaring Fork is Wilderness Lodge's quick service dining location. It is currently closed for refurbishments. But offers counter service meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for in between when needed.
Territory Lounge is a rustic lodge-like bar that serves great drinks!
