Park Spotlight: Universal Orlando Seasonal Events

Springtime at Universal Orlando means more than just flowers, character interaction, thrill rides and blue skies; it’s filled with Mardi Gras festivities. Starting with beads and then a parade with parade floats from the Big Easy and beyond. They have live concerts, authentic Cajun cuisine for your tasting along with plenty of activities for both day and night, you will be a part of the most amazing party this side of Bourbon Street.
In the summer this year Universal Orlando is opening there 3rd theme park called Volcano Bay. Here you will enjoy fabulous watersides and water activities for people of all ages. During the summer months you can come early and play late at the them parks.

In the Fall Universal Orlando has Halloween Horror Night. Happening from September 15- November 4 on select dates. During this separate ticket event you will get spooked in a Haunted House, see scary mutants and zombies, have makeup done(Halloween horror style)
This event is not recommended for children under the age of 13.
They also have Duffoberfest in the Springfield section (which features the Simpsons) in Universal Studios. You can get a special duff beer and relax in the open air bar.
There is also NBC sports Grill & Brew where you can watch all your favorite Fall sports.

The Winter Months they offer Holidays at universal here you will be able to experience the Macy's Holiday Parade (Universal Studios Florida park) and Grinchmas (Universal Islands of Adventure park). These take place on select evenings starting December 3rd. You will see holiday decor through out the theme parks. If you stay on property you may even have a chance of seeing Santa Claus himself. Lowes Portofino Bay participates in Holiday Harbor nights where you can enjoy a glass of your favorite wine and gourmet cuisine. This event happens on select nights 4 times a year. Must be 21 or older to experience this event.
You can have Hot butterBeer in The Wizarding World of Harry Porter Hogsmeade.
For New Years Eve they have an end of the year bash with gourmet food, celebrity DJ and a huge Dance Floor at Universal CityWalk.
