Resort Spotlight: Disney Saratoga Springs Resort


Disney Saratoga Springs Resort is a Disney Vacation Club resort( not only available to DVC members but general population as well). This resort opened in 2004 and resembles Saratoga Springs NY from the late 1800's. This resort is know for its spa(Senses) and horse racing decor. It is nestled amongst Lake Buena Vista golf course and the Village Lake.

There are 5 different types of Rooms available at this resort.

*Deluxe Studio sleeps 4 plus one infant under the age of 3. Room offers a Kitchenette and a queen bed with sleeper sofa.

*1 Bedroom Villa can sleep 5 plus one infant under the age of 3. Room offers a FULL kitchen, sleeper sofa and chair, a King size bed in the Master, a jacuzzi tub, seperate shower, washer and Dryer

* 2 Bedroom Villa sleeps 9 plus one infant under the age of 3. Rooms offers a Full Kitchen, sleeper sofa and chair in living room area, a King size bed in the Master Bedroom, 2 Queen Size beds in the 2nd Bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, washer and dryer.

*Grand Villa sleeps 12 plus one infant under the age of 3. This amazing Villa is 2 stories with a King in the master with huge master closet and bathroom, 1/2 bath 2 bedrooms upstairs with 2 queen beds in each along with a bathroom with each. A FULL kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer

*Treehouse Villas these amazing 3 bedroom Treehouse Villa are elevated 10 ft off the ground. They have a fully equipment kitchen, tvs, private decks and a charcoal grills. They are set In the woods.

They have a variety of dining options as well. Quick service they have 3 locations the Artist Palette, the Paddock grill, and the Backstretch Pool Bar. Casual dining the Turf Club Bar and grill. They have lounges also On the rocks and the Turf Club lounge where you can grab an adult beverage and relax.

Saratoga Springs Resort is located within walking distance to Disney Springs. They also have five(5) pool areas And a great kiddie pool over in the Paddock section. There is movies under the stars, Senses spa, a gym, bicycle rentals, an arcade, poolside entertainment in the afternoon, and smores around the fire in the evenings. The resort is large and you may have to walk to a bus section but they have one in each section as well. The have an area where you can buy common groceries, snacks, and souvenirs in the main building located within the Artist Palette.

While this resort is nestled away from the theme parks it is an amazing resort with calming colors and exquisite attention to detail. Find yourself one with nature while walking on the paths in each location and you may even find a few carousel horses along the way. It is truly is Amazing. The resort is actually In high demand so Disney has added preferred room locations also.

So sit back and enjoy taking a step back in time to the 1800's in Upstate New York while vacationing in Disney World.
