Park Spotlight: Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Every little girl’s dream is to be a princess! Especially to be a princess at Disney World. That dream can come true at Disney’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. This place is a salon that provides magical makeovers for young princesses and knights ages 3 to 12. The Fairy Godmothers-in-Training pamper the girls and boys are transformed into knights. The magical makeovers take 30 minutes to an hour depending on the package chosen. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has two locations at Walt Disney World. You can get your magical makeover inside Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom or at Once Upon a Toy Store in Disney Springs’ Marketplace. There is also a boutique at Disneyland in California. When you arrive at the boutique, your child will receive a “royal invitation” with her name on it. When you leave, you will receive a pink bag with her makeup palette, nail polish, a comb and face jewels. For safe hygiene, fresh items are used with each makeover.
Girls choose a hairstyle, add makeup, nail color and accessories as well as pick a Disney princess costume. There are several packages to pick from. Girls can pick from three hairstyles- fairytale princess, Disney diva and color star. The fairytale princess hairstyle is a genuine princess look with hair pulled into a bun with a rhinestone tiara and a Mickey shaped barrette. The Disney Diva hairstyle is a modern hairstyle that adds a hair extension to match the princess’ hair color. Sparkling Mickey hair pins and glitter is used too. The Pop Princess or Color Star hairstyle is pulled up with a blue, purple, pink and yellow hairpiece and decorated with Mickey Mouse shaped clips and glitter.
The packages are as follows:
*Crown Package- $64.95 plus tax. This package includes hairstyling, shimmering makeup, face gems, princess sash and cinch sack and nail polish.
*Courtyard Package- $109.95 plus tax. This package includes all the Crown package items and a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shirt and a trendy tutu.
*Castle Package- $199.95 plus tax. This package includes all the Crown package items and a Disney Princess gown of choice, wand and crown. Costume choices include Anna, Elsa, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida.
The Frozen packages are listed on the Disneyland website, but you can ask about them at Walt Disney World if your girl really wants to be an Anna or Elsa makeover.
*Frozen Crown Package- $114.95 plus tax. This package does not contain a costume. You may get an Anna or Elsa hairpiece as well as the other items in the crown package.
*Frozen Package- $164.95 plus tax. This package contains the Anna or Elsa braided hairpiece, the sparkling snowflake hair accessories, an Anna or Elsa costume and a 12-inch Olaf plush doll.
Boys can select between two knight packages. The knight package is $19.95 plus tax and includes hairstyling with gel, mighty sword and shield and confetti. The deluxe knight packages include all those items and a prince costume. The deluxe package is $79.95.
What You Need to Know Before Arriving
*Arrive with brushed, clean hair that does not have any hair or styling products
*Clean fingernails with no polish
*Children must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or older
*When booking castle package, you will need to know which Disney princess gown you would like
If you purchase Memory Maker, the photos taken by the Disney photographers at the boutique are included. You can also add the Imaging Package for $32.95 plus tax and receive 1 6x8 and 4 4x6 phots in a special photo holder. Castle Couture is located beside the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Magic Kingdom. Your child can pose for royal pictures at this store. Disney Springs also has a place to get special photos made. Your child will truly feel like a princess during the photo shoot.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is very popular and reservations need to be made as soon as possible. For Disney World, reservations can be made as early as 180 days in advance. Call 1-407-WDW-STYLE to make an appointment at Walt Disney World. Disneyland reservations are made up to 60 days in advance. Call 1-714-781-7895 to make a reservation at Disneyland in California. Reservations are usually made from 8am-7pm.
