Christmas at the Resort

Walt Disney World is a Magical place to be during ANY season, but there is something special about the Christmas Season! One of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World is between November and early January because each Disney Resort is decorated for the holiday! From value to deluxe resorts each resort each resort has it's very own Christmas flair!

Value and Moderate Resorts generally have a decorated Christmas tree and smaller decorations throughout the lobby, themed to match the theme of the resort.

All Stars

Deluxe Resorts have a large tree and many decorations themed to match the theme of the resort.

Grand Floridian - You will find a 16 foot tall gingerbread house in the lobby! Miniature versions are available for purchase. You will also find a beautiful Victorian Christmas tree in the lobby.

Contemporary Resort - Mary Blair inspired 17 foot Cinderella Castle made from gingerbread, located by the large A frame window! This gingerbread castle was formerly Frozen themed. This resort also has a gigantic Mickey Mouse shaped wreath.

Beach Club - Large carousel made from gingerbread, located in the lobby! Don't forget to check out the beach themed Christmas tree!

Yacht Club - Large train made from gingerbread, located in the lobby! The other Christmas decorations throughout the resort are nautically themed.

Boardwalk Inn - Miniature version of Atlantic City made from gingerbread, located in the lobby! (Super bummed that this was not constructed yet during my visit in early November)

Animal Kingdom Lodge - This amazing resort is decorated with a massive Christmas tree in the lobby!

Wilderness Lodge - At this resort you be greeted by a Christmas tree towering above you!

Which Disney resort is your favorite to visit during the Christmas Holiday Season?
