Ship Spotlight: Symphony of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s newest ship in the Oasis class to be debuting this spring is the Symphony of the Seas. It will be the world’s largest ship - able to hold a capacity of 5,494 passengers. This ship will have a wide range of accommodations to choose from: Interior Staterooms and Oceanview to Balcony and Virtual Balcony Staterooms to Family Suites and Royal Class Suites. Royal Class Suites guests will enjoy exclusive full-service amenities like access to the Suite Sun Zone sun deck, private lounge with ocean views and all day access to Coastal Kitchen. This concierge level also includes VOOM high speed internet access, specialty dining, complimentary beverage packages, and free gratuities. There will be 20 dining options ranging from fresh seafood at Royal Caribbean’s Hooked Seafood to Japanese grill specialties and new teppanyaki menu at Izumi.

There are lots of onboard activities to keep yourself busy during your vacation. Be brave enough to plunge down 10 stories on the Ultimate Abyss - the tallest slide at sea - or stick to the easier going waterslides at Splashaway Bay Aqua Park! The Aqua Park also has water cannons, fountains and a drench bucket too! Or slide down one of the three thrilling water slides at the Perfect Storm! Soar above the boardwalk on the zipline or climb the rock walls! Go ice skating at the Center Ice Skating Rink, which is complementary and only available aboard Royal Caribbean ships! Play laser tag in Studio B or Hang Ten on FlowRider, a 40-foot long surf simulator. Vitality at Sea Spa will provide spa treatments to help you relax after a long day of fun or join a yoga or tai chi class at the state-of the-art fitness center.

This amazing ship will set sail on it’s first voyage out of Barcelona on March 31st, 2018 on a 5-night Pre-Opening cruise to Italy. It will then beginning it’s 7-night Western Mediterranean itineraries on April 7th out of Barcelona - this date is already sold out! Later in the fall, Symphony of the Seas will come to Miami to begin Caribbean interinaries. It’s first Caribbean cruise will set sail on November 9th for 4 nights to Cozumel. After that, beginning Nov 17, 2018, it will begin sailing 7-nights to the Eastern Caribbean. Each cruise changes the ports that they visit so be sure to check each sailing to see where your cruise will be visiting.
