Dining Spotlight: 50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Let’s take a step back in time to the 1950’s at have a seat at Momma’s table for a meal at 50’s Prime Time Café! 50’s Prime Time Café is a table service, American cuisine meal, located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior.

When you arrive and check in you can have a seat in Dad’s Living Room and wait for Momma to call you to dinner! My kids thought it was hilarious when “Momma” called out “Dismukes Kids, time for dinner!!” Momma led us to our table in Mom’s Kitchen and she then showed us the menu! My husband went with “Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken”, I decided to get “Dad’s Traditional Meatloaf”, my daughter picked “Aunt Betty’s Chicken Nuggets” and my son got “Grandma’s Macaroni and Cheese”. While we waited for the meals to arrive we took in the sights of Mom’s Kitchen. From black and white TV’s to the classic retro décor, everything down to the calendars on the wall reflected the 1950’s. Momma will remind you throughout your dinner to keep your elbows off the table and she will also remind you to eat your veggies!

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan (or even if you are not), don’t forget dessert! We picked the “Dad’s Brownie Sundae” and “Mom’s Favorite Chocolate Peanut Butter Layers Cake” both of these were absolutely amazing and HUGE, enough for the whole family to enjoy! If you clean your plate you will become an official member of the “Clean Plate Club”, wear that sticker proud!
