Dining Spotlight: Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzaria

This restaurant is a hug hit among guests of all ages! Located in the Italy pavilion at EPCOT's world showcase, the food here is made the authentic Italian way. This location has been voted the critic's choice for best theme park restaurant and once you visit you will see why. This is one that my family likes to go to every time that we visit Walt Disney World.

The dining area is intimate with murals on the ways depicting Italy. The showstopper is the 3 wood burning ovens that look like faces, named after the actives volcanoes in Italy – Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius, and Stromboli. The severs are all from Italy and are glad to tell you all about their home country if you ask. Every time we have been to this location the servers have been so nice, the food has been excellent, and the experience has been wonderful!

There are so many delicious options to choose from that it’s hard to make up your mind. Everything we have ordered has been wonderful. Start your meal off with a delicious appetizer like arancini balls, pasta e fagioli soup or a fresh caprese salad. Entrees offer options like freshly made spaghetti, lasagna, or chicken parmesan. I've had the chicken parm and it was the best I've ever had!

The real hit here is the authentic Neapolitan pizza, made the old way with San Marzano tomatoes, real Caputo flour imported from Italy, and water for the dough is even sourced from a spring similar to the Campania region. The pies are then fired in the wood burning ovens. Choose from toppings you would normally see like pepperoni and sausage or be adventurous and try new options like artichokes, truffle oil, and smoked salmon.

Desserts found here are a wonderful way to end your meal, if you have room! Try the tiramisu made with lady fingers, marscapone, and espresso, or vanilla, chocolate, and pistachio gelati, or ricotta cheese fritters with whipped cream and chocolate.

The kids menu features choices your kids will love like pizza, spaghetti, and fried mozzarella bites. For dessert they can enjoy delicious sundaes.

Be sure to give this dining location a try, I promise you won't be disappointed. Picky eaters of the world rejoice, there is food here that even the most finicky will probably love!
